Jean Grey has been a longtime member of the X-Men for quite some time. She looks up to the Professor with nothing but respect, as he is both a mentor and a father figure to her. For a while now, she's been in a commited relationship with fellow member, Scott Summers, but after the disappearance of her beloved friend Ororo, she does everything in her power to find her. Jean has the ability to move things with her mind, which is known as telekinesis, and has several other psychic abilities, including astral projection, mind control, reading thoughts, etc.

Being the first member of the X-Men, Scott Summers is next in line to run things if anything should happen to the Professor. He likes to play the strong, fierce man, but deep inside he is quite the sensitive type. He's been in a relationship with Jean for a while now, and would like to take it to the next level, but she isn't quite ready for that right now. He has the ability to shoot a burning ray, a kind of laser, from his eyes. Luckily he can control his power with special glasses the Professor had made for him.

In her hometown she was viewed as a pure goddess, but here in New York, she is nothing but a freak. Ororo is somewhat of a newcomer in the X-men; and has had Jean Grey watch over her like an older sister. Unfortunately she was kidnapped, as were a lot of other mutants, but where is she now? Nobody knows. She is an outspoken individual who stands up for what she believes in. Having the ability to control the weather, she uses this as an advantage in battles; but does not enjoy harming others. In reality, she truly is a goddess.

Logan was the second recruit of the X-Men team, but somewhere along the way he decided to pack his things and leave. If not knowing his past wasn't hard enough, his life in the present was not to his satisfaction; and he believed the Professor to be nothing but a phony. But, years later, he returns to Charles in hopes of discovering his true origins. He is a lot older than everyone else, but thanks to his re-generating powers, he does not look it. What he does know, is that he wasn't born with adamantium claws; and in fact, they were given to him. But now he wants to know who did it, and why? Will he find out what happened to him all those years ago?

Professor Charles Xavier was quite the saint in his mutant, glory, days. He fought in the war, he saved people's lives, and now he is a teacher at a school for gifted youngsters. Forming an alliance of mutants, his mission is to protect the mutants of this world, and teach mankind that they are all alike. But, there are people of this world not ready to listen, and who will fight to rid the world of his kind. All he can do now, is hope that he has taught his team enough; if for any reason he won't be around, they can go on without him ... completing his mission!

Hank McCoy joined the X-Men team as he believed in their mission statement. His father being a good friend of Charles', he would do anything to protect the Professor, if not for the mutant's sake, but in honour of his father's friendship with the man. Hank is a gentle soul, but when he discovers mutant genes in his blood, that have suddenly kicked in, he no longer looks like the gentle soul he's been come to be known as. Turning into somewhat of an intellectual Beast, he decides to get into the action with the Team, to fight for their future!!

After running away from home, Kitty Pryde runs into Logan in the streets of New York; who then brings her back to the Professor in hopes of helping her out. The troubled teenage soon settles in, learning to control her powers, and use them to help the team in any way possible; her power: Kitty has the ability to walk through walls. But, without control, sometimes it can set off when she is emotional, angry, or just really, really scared. Will she ever learn the true meaning of control?

Emma Frost has the unique ability to turn herself into a diamond form; completely hard and unbreakable. She has known the Professor for a very long time, and only just joined the team a few years back. She is quite the witty, flirtacious woman who has her heart set on Scott, and with Jean off searching for Ororo, will he oblige to such a woman. Her origins are quite unclear as of yet, but Emma Frost is not the dumb blonde some view her to be; in fact, she is quite the opposite!!

Fleeing his village, Piotr arrives at the mansion with tears in his eyes. Discovering his mutant ability of becoming solid metal, he finds himself religiously exiled, as his people see him as the spawn of Satan. The Professor takes him under his wing, and shows him there are many people, just like him, and that he is just as human as the rest of the world; only different. Piotr shows quite an attraction to newcomer Kitty, and soon they're flirtacious greetings turn into a serious relationship. Piotr is also quite the muscle of the group, but like Ororo, he does not wish to harm. If he must, he will use his strength as a weapon, but will always try and find a way to prevent that from happening.
The Complete First Season
Logan must face painful memories of his time at the School for gifted youngsters, as he finally returns to do what he does best. Meanwhile, Jean heads out on a journey to find Ororo Munroe, who was apparently reported to be dead; but the psychic knows better. But what she finds may be the end of her; and all other mutants alike.
Professor Xavier sends Scott and Logan out to go undercover in hopes of finding a troubled mutant who has the ability to shatter any kind of glass in their area; and is said to be extremely dangerous.
For years, Hank McCoy worked alongside their kind, teaching them, training them; but never in all his life would he of thought he would become them. As his mutant genes kick in, he struggles to let go of all that he once was. Can he move on from this? Meanwhile, Logan's flashbacks of his past lives begin to kick into effect; that puts several of his teammates lives in jeoprady.
The X-Men are confronted by a strange female mutant who creates an alternate universe where she is the ruler of the world. But when Professor Xavier seems to be the only person that remembers, will he be able to bring the world back to what it used to be?
When the head of SHIELD shows up at the School for Gifted Youngsters, he gets the X-men involved in a top secret mission to protect the city from the destructive renegade, JUGGERNAUT. But, when Juggernaut's target is the humans of the world, will the X-men fight to save the people who treat mutants the worse? Meanwhile, Storm returns with shocking news!!
When the X-Men learn of Jean's capture they go on a mission to rescue her and other mutants ,Weapon X, is holding captive. Wolverine unknowningly steps into an all too farmiliar place where his forgotten past becomes clear.
Whilst out on a mission, the X-Men run into a mutant thief, that has the ability to charge up anything with the touch of his hand; if he so wishes to. Welcoming him into their home, they begin to recruit him as one of the team. But, when he steals top secret files from the Danger Room computer, including the Sentinel 101 project file; the Team must do everything in their power to stop him.
Scott gets a visit from his troubled brother who is in need of guidance but when Jean discovers his intentions aren't what he says they are, who will Scott trust?
Someone inside the mansion isn't who they say they are. As the professor struggles to find the insider within the school, Scott and Jean attempt to save a young girl who's life has suddenly turned upside down when she discovers her mutant ability; starting fires! Who is the imposter? Who will betray the team? And what will happen to them?
As the X-Men are still in shock over Wolverine's betrayal, a man named Piotr Rasputin who is on the run, after unintentionally destroying an entire neighborhood block, comes to the mansion seeking help due to the discovery of his mutant abilities.
When the Danger Room gives birth to itself, the X-men find thesmelves battling it with the very thing that knows all their moves; their techniques, and more importantly, their weaknesses.
Jean is touched by a young mutant who has the ability to enhance other's powers! How will this affect her? Meanwhile, Storm discovers a person from her past.
In the Season Finale of a lifetime, Emma Frost has revealed herself to be the imposter, taking out the team's most valuable asset: Professor Xavier! At an attempt to destroy the X-men, once and for all, she injects the fluids of Cerebro into her body to track down and eliminate all remaining members, who are currenlty out off on separate missions. Meanwhile, Jean's true essence of power is unleashed as a result of the shocking events in the season finale!

A lot of the episode guides do have spoilers as to the big bads, the stuff that will occur throughout the season; but we, Chris and I, just want to show you how big this show is going to be, and how big season two is going to get!
