Metropolis is a virtual series inspired by the hit television series SMALLVILLE. It is not a continuation of any form, but does hold links to the origins, and stories of Smallville. I view this as a reimagination of the Smallville show but mainly tells three key stories throughout:
-Superman's adventures in the huge city of Metropolis.
-Clark/Lois adventures together at the Daily Planet.
-The birth of several DC Comics characters!

A new criminal is in Metropolis that has a thing for torturing cute girls, and grinding them up into bits. But, when CHLOE is kidnapped, LOIS will do everything in her power to get her back. With evidence leading back to LEX LUTHOR, Lois finds herself encountering a fight she always knew would come one day - CAN SHE FIND HER COUSIN??
JIMMY is attacked by a group of thugs before being saved by a new hero; a VIGILANTE. Snapping a quick shot of the blurred, stealthy figure, the story is all over the Daily Plant. But, does this new hero want to be known to the world? Meanwhile, the arrival of BRUCE WAYNE leaves Lex without a job - taking over the Daily Planet.
KARA returns with another crystal - a weapon that, in time, will destroy an unbeatable foe. Meanwhile, the JUSTICE LEAGUE have been trapped in a sealed facility, the sole propery of LEX LUTHOR'S; after a mission led them astray. With CHLOE as their only hope, can she get in and out without being spotted?
Seeking to destroy BRUCE WAYNE in order to reclaim the Daily Planet, LEX begins to research the billionaire's past, revealing the death of his parents. Haunted by these memories, Bruce finds himself in a catatonic state, reliving them over and over again.
Several warning signs arrive to Metropolis as the city faces the beginning of the end. The Daily Planet is severely affected by an earthquake, facing a sudden evacuation that leaves several reporters dead; CLARK seeks JOR-EL'S help once again as he questions these signs; and Kara falls through a ripple that leaves her on another planet: APOKALIPS.
As CLARK searches for his long lost cousin, KARA, he finds more than he's bargained for. The LEGION return from the future with a dire warning but something escapes through their time: the BRAIN INTERACTIVE CONSTRUCT.
An army of APOKOLIPS reveals itself to Metropolis, destroying every moving thing in sight. With the weight of the world on his shoulders, what can CLARK do to save the city this time? Meanwhile, the JUSTICE LEAGUE return to find the watchtower in ruins and CHLOE among the rubble; not to mention the acting CEO of luthorcorp, TESS MERCER.
After surviving an attack from the army of APOKOLIPS, Lex forms a new obsession: this newfound obsession over the army of Apokolips and this new alien uprising leads him back to the same old story: Is CLARK really just the good son/farm boy?

With an eye for curiousity, JIMMY takes on a life-threatening story about the city's most feared crime mob. Going undercover, what will he discover that puts him on LEX LUTHOR's radar?
CHLOE SULLIVAN is the mistress of secrets but that benefit can leave her and the people around her in trouble. LEX LUTHOR has her kidnapped as he seeks answers on this new "vigilante" and the "Man of Steel". Placed in a painful lie detector, that with each zap tearing away at her brain cells, Chloe must face a decision: which heroic superhero will she reveal the truth about to survive?
With the countdown to the apocalypse on its way, our heroes find themselves making the most of the time they have left. CLARK and LOIS open up about their feelings. CHLOE and BRUCE open their romantic connection up even further while the army of APOKALIPS is about to return!
The cosmic hold on DARKSEID breaks; his target: SUPERMAN. Hiding from his enemies, Darkseid manages to destroy everything in Clark's life that he most truly loves - not to mention discovering Superman's true identity. Left in the ruins of Darkseid's destruction, Clark is left with an inevitable decision.
His city in ruins. His friends deceased. With nothing left in this world for the Man of Steel, Clark finds himself doing everything in his power to reverse the damage that has been done - but with Jor-El disagreeing to everything Clark asks, how will he save everything he once loved?
LEX LUTHOR has more than one arch nemesis. After Lex reveals shocking evidence to Bruce that he is this "vigilante" in Metropolis, Bruce decides to take the law into his own hands, drugging Lex and dropping him off to where no one will ever find him. Now, Lex struggles to survive on an unknown island as Clark talks some sense into Bruce, trying to stop him from making a huge mistake.
On the eve of an ECLIPSE, Toyman plans the biggest attack on the MAN OF STEEL after being humiliated by his last attempt, forming an alliance with Archer, and Lex Luthor himself. As the sun is blocked off, Clark's powers fade, and he is left vulnerable to their attack.
A FACE OFF BETWEEN CLARK & DARKSEID HAS ARRIVED -- the final fight is here, and he can't face him alone. BRUCE forms the infamous BAT SUIT and obtains gadgets from WAYNE ENTERPRISE back in GOTHAM CITY, teaming up with the Man of Steel. Meanwhile, Lois is reported to be dead; Chloe is left in a catatonic state; and the BIRTH of the BAT will occur!!
In the conclusion to the two-parter finale, SUPERMAN and BATMAN's attempts at stopping Darkseid were thwarted, leaving them helpless in his next set of plans. Re-viving his AMRY, all hell continues to break loose and the myster begins to unravel -- Batman seeks the JUSTICE LEAGUE's help as CLARK mourns the death of a close friend, giving up all on hope on this fight; Chloe wakes up remembering everything that happened to her and LOIS; Jimmy seeks out LEX to grant vengeance for Lois; and the final fight will leave you in complete and utter shock!!
