VP: So Matt Thanks for sitting down with us today. So first question, You signed on to work with Brian on his new series V.A.M.P, Why did you sign on with him?
Matthew: No problem I'm happy to be here, well I'd joined VPN and Brian had liked my Crystal Falls pitch we talked for a while and he asked me if I'd like to join him on V.A.M.P and didn't even need to think about the answer cause it was automatically yes, he actually thought I was kidding.
VP: I bet his did because his last writer left him in the dark, So Crystal Falls whats that all about it sounds interesting can you give us the basic overview of it?
Matthew: It was supposed to be like the horror and wit of Buffy The Vampire Slayer meets the drama of One Tree Hill its about two siblings Jake and Casey Weston move to the small North Carolina town of Crystal Falls to live with there father, at the moment the there seems to be more and more attacks happening in this town and Jake and Casey and few friends they meet along the way launch a battle to rid the town of evil well trying to live normal lives.But I joined to late and the show never had chance so it all came down to bad timing but there always next fall
VP:Wow. There always is, So how many Episodes are you writing for V.A.M.P ? And are you excited about writing them?
Matthew: Well at the moment officially one episode which will be Episode 06 "Broken Hearts", Brian and I are discussing about writing another episode later this season as for excited it just keeps building the more I read Brian really got something great here and I'm proud to be part of it.
VP: So how are you and Brian planning future episodes? Are you just throwing out random ideas out in the open?
Matthew: Well like you said Brian's other writer sort of left him and I joined the game pretty late he's all ready got an idea of how he wants the season to go, but I'm hoping next season will kind of build it all up together.
