Here is idea I came up a little while ago in the short while I've thought it up its changed a lot but the basis of the show hasn't changed just some of the characters names and a few plots.
so without further ado here it is. and question how do you add pictures?
PLOT: After the death of there mother Jake(Ashmore) and Casey(Panettiere) Weston head to the small town of Crystal Falls, North Carolina to live with estranged father Ben Weston(Sorbo) and his younger wife Rachel(Larter), as if dealing with there mothers death and trying to mend there broken relationship with there father wasnt difficult enough Jake and Casey must start all over again at Crystal Falls High School. Jake quickly meets and befriends Charlie Wilson(Crawford) and Katrina LaRue(Reeser) The three strick up a quick friendship, Casey on the other hand finds fitting in difficult and ends up befriending the school bad boy Leon "L.J." Jefferson(Jones) when a freak murder sprea hits the school and students start turning up dead, Jake meets Liz(Cassidy) a girl who seems to know a little to much about whats going on in the town. But when Jake discovers Liz is a 1000 year old demon with a soul trying to find redemtion will Jake be able to handle this new world of Monsters and horror and will Liz and Jake be able to stop and find the monster responsible for the attack?
The First season would contain 11 episodes and will revolve around the bonding of Jake, Casey and the new people in there life well they adjust to fighting monsters and the forces of evil.
CHARACTERS
Jake Weston portrayed by Aaron Ashmore
Jake is the hero of the story still trying to recover from his mothers death Jake has closed himself off from those closest to him especially Casey and his father, on his first day Jake meets Charlie and his girlfriend Katrina as the three become fast friends. Jake aspires to be a photographer and always carries his camera in his pocket ready to take the next great picture, he is often the Jimmy Olsen to Casey Lois Lane
Casey Weston portrayed by HAYDEN PANETTIERE
Casey is the female protagonist of the series, still recovering from the loss of the one person who understood her, Casey was the one who suggested moving to Crystal Falls to try to mend there brokend relationship with there father. Casey is a young and rising reporter she quickly throws herself into her work and becomes aware of Liz's dark secret. Casey is shy, Reserved but strong she often tends to land herself in bad situations but always has Jake there to look out for her.
Elizabeth "Liz" Bishop Portrayed by KATIE CASSIDY
Not much is none about Liz other than she preferes to be alone and that she ofter turns up at school with cuts and bruises Casey becomes fasinated by Liz and begins to follow her until she learns her dark secret.
Charlie Wilson Portrayed by CHASE CRAWFORD
Charlie is the popular high school quaterback with a wild side on the outside but deep down has been scared deeply from the loss of his mother when he was younger, as his cop father has turned into a drunk, Charlie often hides his pain in witty Sarcasism due to Jake situation the two quickly connect and become fast friends. Charie is currently dating Katrina.
Katrina LaRue portrayed by AUTUMN REESER
Katrina is one of the more popular girl she finds it easy to make friends but find her reltionship with her Boyfriend Charlie at breaking point matters are made worse by Jake's arrival who she quickly devellopes feelings for.
Leon "L.J" Jefferson portrayed by ROBBIE JONES
L.J is a self proclaimed loner/bad boy he doesnt really like people and he especially hates Charlie since Charlie used to pick on him when they were in kindergarden something L.j hasnt been able to let go, he quickly finds himself drawn to Casey and begins helping her solve cases.
Rachel Weston Portrayed by ALI LARTER
Rachel is Ben's younger wife a fact which seems to haunt her she is also a detective assigned to the dark and creepy cases that have fallen on Trinity Falls, Jake and Casey at first don't like Rachel as she tries to hard to be there mother a fact which soon dissapates.
Benjamin Weston Portrayed by KEVIN SORBO
Ben is jake and Casey estranged father he hasnt seen his children since they were little and isnt exactly prepared to deal with two teenagers and finds connecting to them even more difficult, Jake unknowingly takes after his father and the two share a lot of similar traits. Ben finds himself quickly caught up with the dark and deadly cases in Trinity after the death of one of his close friends.
Other Reccuring Characters - I decided to wait to cast the guest stars but here is a description for a few of the characters.

Jake and Casey begin there first day at Crystal Falls High and both find it difficult. Matters are made much worse when a student is found dead not far from the school.
01X02 INTO THE DARKNESS
Casey and Jake meets Liz a girl with a dark and mysterius past as Katrina and L.J warn Casey to stay away Casey find herself pulled into Liz's dark life but when Casey life is threatend Jake must race to save his sister before he loses another family member.
01X03 WILD AT HEART
After a party leaves Charlie with a whole new dark personality
which is rapidly getting worse Katrina turns to Jake for help, the two turn then to Liz who agrees to help Charlie, They uncover a secret organization who are trying to turn people into Warewolves Casey tries to help Charlie on her own.
01X04 CAGED IN
When a student pushed to his limits comes to school with a gun Ben attemps to save his children, well trapped inside Katrina's attempts to talk the student down result in disator, and Jake and Charlie race the clock in order to save Katrina.
