Well what is there to say! Buffy is back. Angel is back as well and we got four amazing spin-offs coming so the fall will rock and I CAN'T wait for the SLAYER TO SLAY!!!

This is a cast for Series Regulars. I will be adding the Reccuring Cast List after the premiere of the season. So don't worry. Any characters that aren't in this list, doesn't necessarily mean they're not in the show. Sorry for the confusion.

I never even considered putting Buffy in Cleveland, as I wanted them all to think "Yes, finally we can move on". And, so putting her in a place where she KNEW there'd be a hellmouth would be silly because of the "Chosen" season finale. And, besides, Faith and her gang reside in Cleveland, battling that hellmouth out.

Well I don't think I've ever even thought about Buffy being told of Spike's survival. I'm not a big fan of their relationship, but if I did let her find out it would have to be during the season after because Buffy Season 8 takes place in Angel Season 5 ... and all hell was breaking loose there so I doubt Spike would have had time to call in to Buffy, let alone, know where she is.

Ah, but don't Spike and Angel believe that Buffy is in Rome - with the Immortal!? (In the season 8 comic we find that it is actually a Buffy-double, but our ensouled heroes don't know that during The Girl In Question.) As to revealing himself "alive" to Buffy, doesn't Spike at one point say something about it being such a waste of his heroic exit during Chosen, to reveal his return?

That is near the end of Angel Season5. So I am not worrying about that at the moment. How do you know it was really Buffy? Huh? Never saw her face XD.

Remember their visit to her apartment and their conversation with Andrew? But, yeah, if this 8th season is concurrent with Angel's 5th, then they wouldn't know that she was, supposedly, in Rome. Do you plan to, somehow, work that Angel storyline into a future story? ( "Hey, Buffy, they think you're in Rome!" ; "Dummies!")

Lol. That would be a pretty funny plot to write.
But it should be done in the next season. And knowing that this is going to be a good series there will be one

Well the big bad of the season may take Buffy to several places, Rome being one, and I can't stress it enough that there will be no Buffy/Immortal relationship. As for Angel and Spike, I'm not sure. But if I did try and match the episodes up, like it should be, then yes, They'd probably be in Rome but she will not be dating the immortal! |

But that's the kicker in the 8th Season comics: it isn't Buffy; it's a double. So, Buffy doesn't have a relationship with the Immortal. Doubles of Buffy were apparently sent out to confuse and bamboozle her enemies - and inadvertently, her lovers. My question was whether this confusion on the part of Angel and Spike might be addressed in the future: do they find out it isn't Buffy?; do they continue to be victims of the hoax? (perhaps an ep entitled The Pursuit of Buffy) Remember, Buffy has said she doesn't trust Angel's team now that they have supposedly allied themselves with Wolfram and Hart.
