VPN: What's new, Jack?
Malone: Well, not only is the sixth season of Angel arriving this month, but I also have Batman on his way. Shooting has finished, that and editing, and we're (the VPN) just waiting an approval on the film, by Chris, before it can come out on the 27th.
VPN: I understand a LOT was edited out of the film. Mind telling us what exactly it was?
Malone: I can't exactly say each and every scene that was snatched out, but the film had a big sub-plot on Catwoman, which was teased from the very beginning, before I put pen to paper. But, as it would seem, it didn't connect with the rest of the story, and felt squished in there; unecessary. So, I spoke with Jessica (ALBA) and seeing as she's signed on for a second film, I've decided to keep that for a possible sequel. Depends on how the first film goes.
VPN: Explain the Joker/Harley relationship? Is the Joker even capable of being in a relationship?
Malone: Harley is what makes the Joker. His funny side anyways. He is capable of love, and through that rough, psychotic exterior, there is ... just a crazy person with makeup on. No, but seriously, they is a connection with the two ... maybe not a real relationship, but a connection.
VPN: Anything else you can tell us?
Malone: There will be a WHOLE LOT OF ACTION. I'm talking a lot. There's explosions, fist fights, gunshots, threats, you name it. And a whole lot of mystery. Batman may face his greatest detective investigation of his short vigilante life.
VPN: So check out the new Batman film as he hits cinema's July 27th!
