Spoiler space for Discussion of all things Joss Whedon-related and everything - - - - - - - - - - - - Very interesting-having Lilah resuce Angel was certainly original. Hope we haven't seen the last of her... I'm intrigued by the developments with Lilah and Wes. I wonder where that's going....
Best wishes,

Hope we haven't seen the last of her... I'm intrigued by the developments with Illyria and Wes. I wonder where that's going.... Best wishes, Scott Thanks. I always liked the chemistry between Wesley and Illyria during the end of the fifth season. I thought, what better time to show the characters growing closer together than when they're stuck in hell and can't get out, lol. And with Lilah, I've read several "fanfictions" where people continue on the Angel series with the gang battling it out with all the demons and it just rambles on and on with nothing but blood splattering, and people dying. This way, I could kick of the premiere with yet another familiar face, and dig myself out of the hole I could have ended up in. Thanks again, Scott, for reviewing my episodes XD

Thanks. And I hope you enjoy them! I will be making an Angel Season 6 opening but it won't be out until the MID-SEASON BREAK because there are a lot of characters in the show at the moment, that may or may not be in it after the break not to worry you about character's lives or anything...

Spoiler Space for Discussion of all things Joss Whedon-related and everything - - - - - - - - - - - - - Bringing Cordy back-always a good thing ;D Very interesting exploration of the characters's relationships here. I'm glad Angel was smart enough to talk things out with Wes...
Best wishes,

Thanks. I really enjoy writing Wesley/Illyria scenes. Seeing as they're so-called relationship was never fully explored thorougly, due to the few episodes they were in, I figured the first two should explain to the audience what kind of connection they had now. Of course, Wesley said himself that "Keep your friends close, your enemies closer", but deep down he feels drawn to Illyria. He knows she's not Fred, which is what frightens him. He can see that its not Fred, but is still drawn to such a being. With Kate, I wanted to try something different. To me she's always seemed tough, pissed off at Angel. Blames him for pretty much everything that has gone wrong in her life. Now that all this is happening, its finally kicked in to her that she may not survive this. So, her apologizing to Angel was necessary in this episode, just so their relationship could develop further more throughout the season without it being too tense. With Angel and Wesley, I think it was obvious what I was going for. Two characters who feel the same way about each other, come back together for solace. Wesley, who feels betrayed by Angel, has betrayed Angel himself. I hope I didn't crash anyone's hope of the two being so angry at each other for more episodes, so that they could grow apart even more, but Wesley is a very dark character for the first ... err ... nine episodes and I think with the separation of his friends, it may cause the audience to look down on him. I'm a big Wesley fan, so them finding each other again was, like I said before, necessary. Thanks for the review. I think I drabbled on here, but I just thought I should explain the relationships in case it wasn't fully addressed in the script

Spoiler Space for Discussion of all things Joss Whedon-related and everything - - - - - - - - - - - - - Regarding your previous post-no apologies necessary. I enjoyed reading it. and you're welcome. Regarding Ep #-poor Gwen. I hope she maanges ot make it through all this. I always liked her.. I'm particularly interested in how Kate seems to have become the one who gives Angel the kick in the rear end that he occisonally needs. Angel does have a problem with losing focus sometimes and since Cordy isn't around all the time to keep him on track, Kate's a good choice for the job... Can't wait to see what happens next...
Best wishes,
Scott

Thanks! I'm sorry for the delay, but I am better now. I've been working on the next script, looking it over and doing a few rewrites of some scenes, so its should be good for Wednesday. Regarding the Kate/Angel relationship, I think its always a nice touch to see the hero of the story going a bit off track. And I think, now more than ever, Angel deserved a little time to get angry about how everyone he cares about is slowly slipping out of his life; and there's nothing he can do about it. In the next episode, that rift in his team is shown because of all the crap that has been happening to Los Angeles. Thanks for the review, XD much appreaciated
