Joss Whedon said from the beginning "this will be nothing like the movie". I think if I was to continue the show with a believeable tense, I wouldn't include Pike in it. Also, because his name is too similar to (S)pike. But, seeing as I don't mind the character, I could always put him in it, but as for now, he isn't going to be in it. XD

Well, no. Because Buffy won't be going to high school, lol. But I know what you mean. Just to make people go "yeah, she's been here before." But there will be a lot of references made in the first episode about how she got booted out, and things like that. THanks for asking XD

No Problem. I cant wait for this to start. So is Dawn going to finish high school? And if so what grade will she be in? Cuz in the series it confused me a lot about her grade and age. I mean in S5 i think she was in 9 in S6 she was either in 9 or 10 and in S7 she was starting Junior or Senior year

Well in the season 7 overview, the writers said that Dawn was now Buffy's age when she first started (season one). I assume that Dawn is taking her final three years of high school before graduating. And in saying that, you will definately be seeing Dawn graduate in this continuation. So, I wouldn't be looking at Buffy ending after season 8 or 9  |

Well im happy that you have this and Angel going on. Plus Faith. I wonder if you will do like a giant crossover between all three shows

Highly unlikely. LOL. Faith takes place during Buffy, and Angel is a year in front. So, Btvs s8 takes place during Angel s5. And its all very confusing ...  ... lol |

and from the look of things, Angel may go into a seventh year, so I don't think a big crossover will happen, unfortunately. There's always time for a movie in the end .... sigh...

Stop doing Angel fro a hot second and then finish Buffy season 8 and Faith Season 2 and then they would all be in the same continuity. Do u get wat im saying?lol

No characters from Faith will crossover onto Buffy in season 8. But Giles appears in Faith s1, as does Andrew, and Vi and a numerous amount of slayers from that season, when they help her try and take down the Virus Vamp.

Oh and in fact in my original concept of the Buffy continuation, last year, had several same ideas incorporated into it, including Pike himself. He was going to be found as like a hostage to some great evil that resided in Hemery, and had been trapped there for years. But after several thousand other concepts, and drafts of scripts, I came to the one I have now and am really, really happy with it. And, hopefully it plays out like a real season of Buffy the Vampire Slayer |
